UK Destination Weddings Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 1 March 2026

1. Parties

This Agreement is entered into between:

Easy Weddings UK Ltd of 25 Procter Street, Lion Court, Holborn, London WC1V 6NY (hereafter referred to as “Easy Weddings” or “EW”); and

The party identified as the Client (hereafter referred to as “the Client”), being the person(s) engaging Easy Weddings to provide Destination Wedding services.

2. Definitions

  • Site: The website located at www.easyweddings.co.uk
  • Destination Wedding Package: A bundled arrangement of venues and supplier services as set out in the Client’s written quotation.
  • Easy Weddings: Officers, employees, agents, or representatives of Easy Weddings UK Ltd.
  • Customer/Client: A person using the Services for the purpose of a Destination Wedding or Event.
  • Venue/Service Provider: The venue, hotel, or supplier engaged to provide services for the Client’s wedding.
  • Destination Buy Rate: A fixed GBP (£) rate applied by Easy Weddings to convert supplier pricing from local currency into a secured GBP amount.
  • Consumer Rights Act: The Consumer Rights Act 2015 (UK).
  • Working Days: Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.

3. Background

  1. Easy Weddings offers Destination Wedding Packages to couples that include venues, suppliers, and event coordination.
  2. The Client wishes to engage Easy Weddings to plan and manage their wedding in accordance with the quotation provided.

4. Booking and Payment

4.1 Planning Fee

A non-refundable £500 planning deposit is payable on booking. This confirms Easy Weddings’ services and initiates venue availability checks.

4.2 Cooling-Off Period

Pursuant to the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the Client has a 14-day cooling-off period following payment of the £500 deposit, provided the service has not yet commenced at the Client’s explicit request.

Where the Client requests that services commence within the 14-day period, the right to cancel may be reduced proportionally to services already performed.

Cancellations must be submitted by email to service@easyweddings.co.uk. Written email acknowledgement from Easy Weddings confirms validity of the cancellation.

4.3 Venue Confirmation

Easy Weddings checks and secures venue availability prior to confirming a booking. Venue availability is guaranteed only if the venue deposit is paid within the required time frame. If unpaid, Easy Weddings cannot guarantee the requested date.

4.4 Payment Schedule

The following payment schedule applies unless otherwise specified in the quotation:

Failure to pay instalments on time may result in cancellation (see clause 7). All amounts are quoted and payable in GBP (£).

5. Supplier Engagement

5.1 Supplier Terms

Suppliers may request clients to accept their own terms and conditions. Easy Weddings reviews these and will notify the Client if any terms materially differ from those set out herein.

5.2 Supplier Guarantee

Easy Weddings guarantees supplier replacement up to seven (7) days prior to the wedding. After this point, Easy Weddings will make best efforts but cannot guarantee availability.

  • If no suitable supplier can be sourced, Easy Weddings will refund the Client in full for the affected supplier cost.
  • Easy Weddings is not liable for service performance but will liaise with suppliers to ensure Minimum Standards of Service are met.

5.3 Payment Terms and Package Adjustments

All payments follow the agreed payment schedule confirmed by Easy Weddings via written quotation or email approval.

Once a Destination Wedding Package is confirmed, the Client may not reduce the total package value by more than twenty-five percent (25%) of the confirmed amount.

Requests to make reductions beyond this threshold are at Easy Weddings’ sole discretion and may require the Client to either maintain payment of the original value or replace it with equivalent services.

5.4 Supplier Additions After Confirmation

After the Client has confirmed their package via signed or written approval, additional suppliers or services may be requested in writing via email. Any approved additions will be incorporated into the Client’s existing payment plan.

6. Currency and Pricing

6.1 Destination Buy Rate

Easy Weddings applies a Destination Buy Rate to convert supplier invoices from local currency into GBP (£). This provides fixed pricing, protection from fluctuation, and covers international fees.

6.2 Security Bonds

Certain venues (e.g. private villas) require a cash bond payable directly by the Client on arrival.

7. Cancellations

7.1 By Client

  • The £500 planning deposit is always retained.
  • Cancellations within the 14-day cooling-off period (where applicable) will receive a full refund of all monies paid beyond the planning deposit.
  • Cancellations after the cooling-off period are subject to the staged penalties below.

7.4 Cancellation Schedule

8. Service Failures

Easy Weddings will negotiate fair settlements on behalf of the Client in the event of a service failure. Where Easy Weddings is directly at fault, statutory remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply.

9. Liability and Indemnity

Nothing excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Subject to that, liability is limited to the value of planning fees paid.

10. Consumer Rights

These terms do not affect statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

11. Data Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

12. Complaints

Complaints should be emailed to service@easyweddings.co.uk. Please allow 5 working days for acknowledgement and 28 working days for a full response.

13. General

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
