That depends on what you’d like to include, as we can customise your Fiji wedding package to suit your plans. Most packages include wedding planning with an expert from our team, a ceremony and reception space with catering, and essential suppliers such as a celebrant, photographer, florist, hair and makeup artist, and music. You can also add extras like videography, transport, styling, additional décor, a photo booth, or entertainment such as traditional Fijian fire dancers.
Is there a minimum or maximum guest count?
Yes, the minimum for a Fiji destination wedding package is typically around 40 guests. The maximum depends on the resort. Larger resorts in areas like Denarau, Nadi, and the Coral Coast are well equipped to host weddings with 150+ guests, while smaller island resorts tend to offer a more intimate setting.
What’s the best time of year for a wedding in Fiji?
Most couples consider July through September to be the best time to get married in Fiji, as the weather is typically sunny with lower humidity. Shoulder months such as May and October are also lovely, offering warm weather with fewer visitors on the islands.
Can we get legally married in Fiji?
Yes. As long as your marriage would be legally recognised in the UK, a wedding held in Fiji can also be recognised. However, many couples still choose to complete the legal paperwork in the UK before travelling overseas, simply to keep the days around their wedding relaxed and avoid travelling with original documents such as birth certificates.
Is Fiji easy for guests to get to and easy to explore?
It depends where guests are travelling from, but there are regular flights from London and other major UK airports with connections through hubs such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, or Dubai. Fiji’s international airport is in Nadi. Many of the country’s hotels and resorts are located in Nadi and Denarau, which are easily accessible by hotel shuttle or taxi. For more remote island resorts in places like the Mamanuca or Yasawa Islands, guests typically continue their journey by water taxi or passenger ferry.
