While 10–18 months is the sweet spot for planning a destination wedding in Bali, it’s absolutely possible to pull things together sooner (especially with a great team on the ground). But if you’re planning on a typical timeline, here’s a general guide to help you stay on track:

10–18 months to go. Lock in your wedding package with your Easy Weddings specialist. This usually includes your venue, accommodation, celebrant, photographer, and entertainment. It’s also a good time to start shopping for your wedding attire.

12 months to go. Send out your save-the-dates with travel and accommodation info (a wedding website works well here). Finalise and order your bridal outfit, especially if it’s made-to-order.

8–10 months to go. Book your flights to Bali and sort out your honeymoon accommodation. Finalise florals, and confirm your hair and makeup team.

5–8 months to go. Check in with your Easy Weddings consultant to go over all the finer details. If you’re going custom with your cake or décor, this is the time to lock it in. Finalise your styling, furniture hire, and outfits for your wedding party.

2–3 months to go. Organise guest favours or welcome bags with a Balinese touch. Send out your formal wedding invitations.

2–4 weeks to go. Your Easy Weddings run sheet will land in your inbox, complete with timings and supplier contacts. We’ll also schedule a final planning chat with your venue to go over the wedding day details.
